They have a wonderful selection of artisan goods, and everything feels thoughtfully chosen. The soaps and candles smell amazing, and I loved the jewelry collection and antiques too. It’s a family-run shop, and you can tell—the employees were so fun and helpful. A true local gem! Bonus, they have a beautiful area where you can fish behind the shop and they sell bait.Posted on Lisa ThomTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Folklore Mercantile is an absolute treasure — the only place in the area where you can get caviar locally, and at amazing prices! Beyond that, the shop is beautifully curated with unique housewares and fine groceries that show a real eye for quality and style. So glad to have this gem in the neighborhood!Posted on Peter KucharasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a welcome addition to Merton. The building was lovingly restored and has a fantastic aesthetic. There’s a nice selection of meats, dry goods, fresh local eggs, antiques and clothing. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into the perfectly curated products and goods while being conscientious of quality sourced consumables. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been very kind. It’s great to grab some fresh bait and fish with the kids at the millpond. Also, the coffee shop Wisco Joe is fantastic.
